Tomb Raider for Laptop Gamers
Girls are generally not really into so much action and arcade games even when they have all day to sit right in front of their gaming laptops. But it’s a quite different scenario when the game they have to sit with is Tomb Raider. The story of the female archeologist, Lara Croft, seems to have hooked both boys and girls into hardcore gaming ever since its release in the 90’s; when gaming was only at its best with Sega gaming consoles.
Developed by Crystal Dynamics, the action-adventure story of Tomb Raider primarily revolves around Lara Croft; a 21 year-old British archeologist whose first job gave her the challenge to unveil the dark story of a lost and forgotten island. From a young witty, courageous, resourceful and determined woman, she was hardened and forced to endure all the challenges she had to face in a totally strange place. She only had herself and her determination to survive. Lara Croft’s adventure was one of the most intense and gritty in the PC gaming industry.
What girls should be looking into when it comes to laptop games this year is Tomb Raider’s PC version released last March 5, 2013.

- Storage: should have at least 10 GB HD available space.

With these system requirements, the PC version of Tomb Raider is already able to feature a new technology which is called the TressFX Hair. This technology provides sharper graphic details that make Tomb Raider even more realistic. It could e as realistic as looking at real individual strands of hair instead of an obviously animated hair drawing. It also features the Depth of Field technology or DOF. This technology provides lens-effect which focuses a specific object or place and blurs the surrounding but still provides great details.
The High Definition Ambient Occlusion is also another great technology added to the game. It enhances the shadow effects by making them look real. It also has the Hardware Tessellation technology which produces realistic images or graphics.
These advanced features and technology being introduced by Tomb Raider would definitely hook up a lot of girls on gaming laptops.
