Fujitsu has hardly made a name for itself in gaming laptops, but the company is promoting its new Lifebook NH751 as just that. It’s a sturdy 17-inch desktop replacement with one of the latest quad-core Sandy Bridge Core i7 CPUs inside, plus an Nvidia GeForce GT 525M.
This GPU does not belong in the upper end of the scale, even if it’s certainly capable of some gaming. It’s a new version of the GT425M, with the same amount of CUDA cores (96) but slightly higher clock speeds than its predecessor.
The laptop comes with a spill-resistant keyboard and is available with 1600×900 or 1920×1080 panels. It can accommodate up to 8GB or RAM but ships with 4GB from Fujitsu. It is not, as stated by Fujitsu’s press release, the “ultimate gaming indulgence”, but still looks like a capable and relatively affordable desktop replacement at $1,199.
